Our Gripline Durable and Original buckets and tubs have been certified with the German environmental label Der Blaue Engel since 2014. This demonstrates that our products have less impact on the environment than similar alternatives and that we take responsibility for the impact of our products. For our partners, this is powerful proof of environmental friendliness and transparency.

what is der blaue engel?

Der Blaue Engel is the official environmental label of the German government and has been in existence for over 45 years. The label identifies environmentally friendly products and services and is internationally recognised as a reliable and independent ecolabel. It provides certainty about the environmental performance of products: our Gripline buckets and tubs are made from 100% recycled and certified plastic sourced from household waste. These products prove that sustainability and quality go hand in hand, while having a lower environmental impact.

The label is a Type I ecolabel, based on the international standard DIN EN ISO 14024, and is distinguished by:

  • Independent awarding with government involvement
  • Assessment of the entire life cycle of products
  • Regular review of requirements
