Affiliated with GSES

We are continuously taking steps to reduce our environmental impact and make responsible choices. An important step in this process is our affiliation with GSES, the Global Sustainable Enterprise System.

GSES (1)

What is GSES?

GSES is a sustainability assessment system that monitors organisations and their products on all relevant sustainability aspects, such as CO₂ emissions, circularity, use of raw materials and human rights. This is done through external audits. The system provides insight into performance with a clear visual ranking system leaf symbols. Instead of testing against a single fixed standard, GSES works as an umbrella system that measures sustainability based on existing certifications.

Benefits for our partners

  • Transparency: partners can clearly see how sustainable our products are.
  • Support for sustainable choices: the GSES system helps with selecting responsible products.
  • Contribution to a sustainable chain: insight into performance enables partners to better achieve their own sustainability goals.

Insight into sustainability

GSES helps us to provide insight into our environmental impact and offers tools for making sustainable choices in both processes and products. In the second phase, our products are also assessed, making the sustainability of each item measurable. This enables other companies to better align their purchasing policies and provides customers with transparent information about the sustainability of our products. This gives us better insight into our environmental impact and makes the sustainability of each product clearly visible.

What steps have we taken to achieve this?

To make our sustainability more measurable, we have taken the following steps:

  • External audit at organisational level: our processes and impact have been assessed by an independent party.
  • Linking existing certifications: our certifications, such as Cradle to Cradle and ISO 14001, have been integrated into the system.
  • Preparations at product level: we are preparing to provide insight into how sustainable each item really is.

These steps ensure that we not only better understand our environmental impact, but can also communicate transparently about the sustainability of each product.
