The certification fits right in with our ambition to take our responsibility as a market leader for the way in which we produce. We take targeted steps to further increase the sustainability of our business practices and to enhance the circularity within the chain. This so we can supply responsible products, both now and in the future.
What is Cradle-to-Cradle?
Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) is an internationally recognised certification for sustainable products. Five elements are considered for the assessment:
- Safe and healthy materials
- Reuse and circularity
- Climate and energy consumption
- Water management
- Social justice
The Bronze level means we meet strict sustainability criteria in alle categories. To achieve this level, we excluded harmful substances, designed our products for reuse, gained insight into our impact on humans and the environment, and prepared a concrete plan to improve even further. In other words: This proves that our products are safe, responsible and reusable and that we continuously improve.
