In 2026, we will take additional steps with the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and a Product Information Management (PIM) system. These innovations mark an important milestone in the continuous development of our organization and in improving our delivery reliability, efficiency, and data quality.
In preparation for the system transition, Berdal will be closed from Friday, December 19, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026.
During this period:
- our ERP systems, including EDI, will not be operational;
- no deliveries to customers will take place;
- we will not be able to receive supplier deliveries.
We kindly request that all orders for delivery before the company closure be placed in time, taking into account the usual delivery times. Orders for delivery from Monday, January 5, 2026, should be placed no later than Thursday, December 18, 2025, also taking into account standard lead times. This will allow us to process your orders on time before the closure period.
In parallel with the system optimization, a revision of part of our (customer-specific) product range will take place. Partners affected by this change will be informed in due course by our sales department, so that any adjustments to product data or specifications can be coordinated in time.
